Epworth Sleepiness Scale

Use this quick test to determine your level of daytime sleepiness. High levels of daytime sleepiness may indicate a sleeping disorder - if you are worried about your sleep then consult your doctor or other healthcare provider.

The Epworth Sleepiness Scale was first developed in 1990 and then later revised in 1997 - it is a simple test used internationally to determine an individual's level of daytime sleepiness. The test is often used to help diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and other sleep disorders.

The test was developed by Dr Murray Johns you can find out more on the official web-site: Epworth Sleepiness Scale.
